How's the world out there? Sitting in Computer Applications....I don't have much to update, but I'm taking advantage of the journal skins announcment. Thought I'd tinker with it.

Things are settling down a little again, for the first time in months. Just went to a dear friend's wedding and in the same day, the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. Was great fun, but I was one tired little lady at the end of that day.

In my Drawing/Painting II class, we've been doing lots of interesting pieces. Just did an Impressionist landscape with oil pastels, using a picture I took in Fort Benning, Georgia (Great place for photography!), and I have a still life from the beginning of the school year I need to post. At the moment, I'm painting a picture of my friend that we made while tracing outlines through plexiglass. Can't wait to get back to work on it, it's super fun! gotta run, bell's gonna ring any minute now
