Artist's Comments
This is my first painting in a long time, and it's not very good. It's better than I thought it would be, though. So it is okay, I guess. There was no paticular inspiration, or model, or person in mind. Just a lady looking away from view. And, I tried to add contrast with the skin tone and blue, the red and the dark green, the white on the hair and the black backround. The skin's shading is weird, I know, but like I said earlier, this is my first painting in a long time. So bear with me here as I try and get better. I hope you like it.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
